Socially, culturally, and politically aware; quickly builds relationships; constantly looks for personal and professional development— these words perfectly describe Simon Renz D. Bartolome. He is a fourth-year student at Saint Louis University, taking up a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Social Studies. October is when he was chosen to be among the 10th Batch Southeast Asian Pre-service Student-Teacher Exchange Program. The advocacy he employs in classroom settings is to regard Social Studies as a learning area that brings social awareness and patriotism.
